The new Volkswagen Polo was unveiled live in Berlin last week where its price, specs, tech and new design were revealed!
With its new sporty and striking design, the new Polo looks better than ever and a selection of design packages opens up extensive customisation options.
The interior of the Polo has also been upgraded! It now features Active Info Display, a storage compartment for inductive smartphone charging as well as new infotainment systems with up to 8 inch displays.
Active Info Display is a fantastic feature which displays the speedometer and the odometer along with detailed driving data, the navigation map or various dirver assistance systems.
The technical highlights include assistance systems such as “Front Assist” with Pedestrian Monitoring, the optional “Blind Spot” sensor as well as the optional “Park Assist” system.
The “Front Assist” assistance system is a standard feature and can support the driver with maintaining the correct distance to the vehicle ahead. When combined with Pedestrian Monitoring, it can detect obstacles that appear without warning and brake the vehicle automatically, within the system’s limits.
The “Blind Spot” sensor is now available as an option for the Polo for the first time. It can warn the driver of vehicles in the driver’s blind spot. “Park Assist”, the most comfortable parking assist system from Volkswagen, is another new option for the Polo. This system not only parks the vehicle without the driver having to steer but also helps the driver to find the right parking space.
