Refreshed Pulman Websites: Coming Soon!

New Pulman SEAT and Pulman CUPRA websites coming to a screen near you

Drum roll please, we are proud to present our new SEAT and CUPRA websites coming to a screen near you soon!

It’s been 5 years since the Pulman Group websites were updated and now it’s time for a change. We wanted something more user-friendly, simple to navigate around and all-in-all a sleeker design, and that’s just what we’ve done!

Over the coming weeks yourself and other website visitors will be able to test out the SEAT and CUPRA websites. If you like what you see, don’t be afraid to leave us feedback when the pop-up box appears. On the other hand, if there’s something you can’t quite find or would like to see, leave us a comment and we will see what we can do before the official launch which is expected in October!

So, what’s the main differences on the new websites compared to our current sites? There’s quite a few changes which you’ll notice as soon as you enter the new website, but the main change we think is the visual aspect! Whether you access the websites on a desktop, tablet or mobile, you’ll find the navigation is very user-friendly and all of the new car offers are now available to view on one single search.

New Pulman SEAT mobile website

If you are after a specific model, you can filter on the single search page which showcases all models and offers or you can use the drop-down menu and select a model from this area. Once you’re on the selected model page there is a whole host of information available including an overview of the model, the latest offers, trims and specifications, available new car stock and used cars as well as the latest news and awards! If you like what you see you can favourite the offers and compare with others too!

New Pulman CUPRA website section

As well as an updated enquiry form to make it simpler for you to submit the nature of your enquiry, you can also submit your enquiry via our live chat system. You may have a general, test drive, part exchange, video request, finance or callback enquiry; whichever one it may be, we are always happy to help!

New Contact us page area on Pulman SEAT

We are also proud to present our new review section which showcases our Feefo feedback from our customers! The reviews and ratings are based on both the service from Pulman as well as on the cars themselves.

Plus, the excitement doesn’t stop there for our new websites! Up until now, CUPRA has always had its spot on the Pulman SEAT site, but now it showcases its own brand website, meaning you’ll learn all about the performance and sophisticated brand and the offers available on its dedicated site!

New Pulman CUPRA mobile website

Our Pulman Volkswagen and SKODA websites will also be going through the update during quarter 4, so look out for updates across our social channels & websites!

Pulman is about delivering a fantastic customer experience, and this is true to the online experience as well. The new websites are configured for mobile-first design, full of even more fantastic offers, a new favourite and compare system and fantastic content with even more ways to contact us.

So, after shopping around why not a pay a visit to our new SEAT and CUPRA websites and make Pulman your end destination choice.

Pay No Company Car Tax On Electric Cars in 2020/21

Pay No Company Car Tax On Electric Cars in 2020/21

If you’re looking to upgrade your company car there never has been a better time to switch to an electric vehicle, find out why in our latest blog…

The Government have recently stated that company car drivers who choose to drive an electric car will pay no Benefit-In-Kind (BIK) tax in 2020/21. HM Treasury say that for cars registered from 6th April 2020, most company car tax rates will reduce by 2% meaning that for a 100% electric vehicle with zero emissions, this will drop to 0%, therefore company car drivers will pay no BIK tax at all.

Electric charging point - 0% BIK Tax in 2020/21 for company car drivers

These rates are also applicable to already existing company car drivers who already drive 100% electric vehicles which were registered prior to 6th April 2020. So, for those drivers who were looking forward to a reduced rate of 2%, they can now enjoy 0% tax in 2020/21. The 0% BIK tax also applies to company cars registered from 6th April 2020 with emissions from 1-50g/km and with a 100% electric range of 130 miles or more. In 2021/22 both fully electric cars with zero emissions and emissions from 1-50g/km will rise to 1% followed by an increase to 2% BIK tax in 2022/23 (please see both tables below for a more detailed breakdown).

Frankfurt Motor Show 2019

Frankfurt Motor Show 2019

One of the biggest events of the motoring calendar is fast approaching and at Pulman we can’t wait to see what the Volkswagen Group (VAG) brands have in store for us!

The Frankfurt Motor Show opens its doors to the world’s press on 12th & 13th September ahead of the public days which is from 14th to 22nd September 2019. The Volkswagen Group will be revealing a range of concept and forthcoming production models but the main focus at the motor show will be on electric vehicles. Below we’ve shared what we know so far…

Volkswagen ID.3

One of the most important cars to be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show after sitting on the edge of our seats all summer is the fully electric Volkswagen ID.3 hatchback. Since pre-ordering opened in May 2019 there have been more than 27,000 reservations on the 100% fully electric ID.3 so it’s definitely in demand and we can’t wait to see the full reveal this September! The ID.3 1st Edition offers an electric range up to 260 in accordance with WLTP and comes with quality standard features including Navigation, Voice Control and a contrasting colour roof.

New Volkswagen ID.3

Find out more about the Volkswagen ID.3.

Alongside the production of the ID.3, it’s expected that Volkswagen will show a new electric concept as well. The concept will give us an idea of what’s coming next with suggestions that the model could be a value crossover likely to be called the ID.2.

Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet

It’s an exciting time for the crossover segment as Volkswagen are the first to introduce the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet, the only mainstream crossover with a fully convertible roof! The new T-Roc indirectly replaces the Golf and Beetle Cabriolet models and will be the only drop-top for Volkswagen for the foreseeable future. Following tradition, the T-Roc will have a classic soft top with the fully automatic roof opening in just 9 seconds.

New Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet front view

The new T-Roc, unlike other cabriolets, are spacious for rear seat passengers too! The roof design allows for enough leg and head room for passengers who are six-foot to be comfortable, along with a 284-lite boot space. Volkswagen have also claimed the noise levels are kept low by using specially developed door and roof seals.

New Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet

Expected to launch Spring 2020, there will be two trims available in the UK (Design & R-Line); we are sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of this niche SUV prior to the release date!

As well as the exciting new model launches above, Volkswagen will also be unveiling their new brand identity, we can’t wait to see what’s new!

CUPRA

CUPRA will be presenting their first fully electric concept vehicle at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which from sneak peak images looks to be an SUV-Coupe likely to share its design features with the upcoming CUPRA Formentor! Little has been revealed from CUPRA aside from the images shared below (pictured below). CUPRA state the interior will apply carbon fibre in swathes, contrasting colours and a sculpted design to match the exterior shape. On the outside, CUPRA claim that the vents across the SUV-Coupe’s nose have been designed to provide the maximum possible driving range; the prototype’s platform or drivetrain is still yet to be confirmed from CUPRA but we believe it will be based on a modified version of the Volkswagen Group’s all-electric MEB platform.

SKODA

Although SKODA will not be revealing any concept cars at the motor show, they will be showcasing the new Monte Carlo trims for the brand new Scala and Kamiq, which will celebrate the brand’s rallying heritage. The new trims will include black exterior elements and bespoke badging.
